This is Monday, September 8, 2008. The time is about 9 AM. The place is Sharae Faisal, Karachi. The moving violation points are from Karsaaz to Jauhar Mor.
A blue newly painted truck, which appears to be equipped with water suction systems, moves at a high speed in fast lane. It merrily goes from second to first fast lane, and the driver seems to be oblivious of this fact that he is not driving in accordance with traffic laws.
I try to slow him down and indicate him to go in its own lane, near COD gate on Rashid Minhaas Road. The driver is surprised, and with his hand gestures asks me why I am doing this!
I find no traffic police around to stop him and question him, as his truck had no number plates of any sort in the back and front. He seemed to be a contractor for CDGK.
